AMF thanks Steve and all our supporters who purchased raffle tickets.

SUMMER 2013 ORPHANED CALF SEASON IS HERE

With the breakup about complete in most areas of Alaska, moose cows are now beginning to drop their moose calves.

AMF has again applied and been granted a permit for rearing and releasing orphaned calves that have been designated such by Alaska Department of Fish & Game.

If you see what appears to be an orphaned calf, please call the correct authorities (not AMF):

THANK YOU'S

A big thanks to all of our             volunteers and supporters.

To the AMF Salvage Drivers:

Thank you for your ability to rise to the occasion, and mostly during the middle of the night to remove moose from the scenes of accidents and them deliver to local charities. You are the shining light of our program.

To the Alaskan Public:
Thank you for jumpstarting the Diversionary Trails and Feeding Program. Through your donations, AMF built the first 3 stations. After that, the State came through and funded the rest.

Dr.'s Bob & Dianne Hutchison:
Thank you for your time effort in building a credible rescue program to rear orphaned moose calves.

Dr. Bill Noll:
We lost a colleague and supporter of the AMF with Bill's passing in the summer of 2011.  We will miss you greatly, old friend.

  MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

Sign  Up Now:

Your annual membership is very important to us. It helps fund programs that need a little more assistance. In 2013-14, our Salvage Program needs more funding to keep trucks on the road from Fairbanks to Homer.

Our membership dues do not come with key chains, letter openers, or tee-shirts that are too small. Your dues go straight to work for public safety in Alaska.

We will keep you informed Through periodic email newsletters, we will keep you up-to-date with the latest information for moose safety and moose abundance so Alaska is a greater place to live.
